Tolkien

Sally Magnusson visited the Tolkien festival in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne at the city鈥檚 medieval Castle. The event was organised by the Castle in conjunction with Time and Tide Events. 听It鈥檚 60 years since the final book in J.R.R. Tolkien鈥檚 trilogy The Lord Of The Rings was published.听Sally interviewed Tolkien expert Tom Price from the Oxford Centre For Christian Apologetics.听

Sally Magnusson and Tom Price visit St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle where there is a stained glass window dedicated to St Oswald.听In the castle, Sally interviewed artist Jay Johnstone from the Sci-fi and fantasy network.

Richard Taylor, our very own Church Detective, is in Steventon Church exploring its links with 19th Century Novelist Jane Austen.

Jerusalem

The hymn, Jerusalem began as a poem by William Blake. David Grant visited Blake鈥檚 former home in Felpham to see where the poem was written.
