Musician and composer Nitin Sawhney joins Mary Anne, to talk about the experience of writing with superstar songwriters. Nitin has previously composed pieces with acts including Paul McCartney, Brian Eno and Jeff Beck.

Expect to hear tales about Macca and more ... plus the story of how Nelson Mandela once turned down a phone call with President Mbeki to write with Nitin.

Nitin's contribution to music has led to him acting as a judge for The Ivor Novello Awards, BAFTA, BIFA and the PRS foundation. He is a recipient of 6 honorary doctorates from British universities, and was offered an OBE for his work in 2007.

As a solo artist, Nitin has released nine studio albums. His tenth record, 'Dystopian Dream', will be released in November through Positiv-ID.
