Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie's guest today is the erudite enthuse-meister himself, Sid Griffin. Our resident musicologist chats all about a book by Domenic Priore called Riot on Sunset Strip. It covers the great musical awakenings of the 1960s, from the moment The Byrds debuted at Ciro's in 1965, right up to the demonstrations of November 1966, these LA-nightclubs on Sunset Strip nurtured and broke the likes of The Doors, Love, Buffalo Springfield, Frank Zappa - and that's just a few!
