Children In Need Appeal Film
Songs of Praise travelled to Gloucester to visit the and meet a local family who use their services.ÌýThe James Hopkins trust is a Gloucestershire charity supporting severely disabled, life limited and life threatened children Ìýthroughout Gloucestershire.
A recent grant from Children in Need has helped the James Hopkins Trust increase the amount of overnight respite care they can offer families. Of all the services they offer the Respite care is the most important and in demand, providing a lifeline to families in desperate need of support.
As well as allowing Simon to spend quality time with his wife Lucy and their eldest daughter Sophie, the support from James Hopkins trust is important in allowing him to continue his study towards becoming a priest. Simon hopes to be ordained in spring 2016 and take up his first curate position soon afterwards.
