Roxy and Dean watch on as Honey, William and Janet move into Ronnie’s. Dean’s perplexed when Roxy carries on as if nothing’s happened -Dean calls Roxy out on being in denial. Roxy states that she wishes she hadn’t told Dean about Ronnie killing Carl. Roxy heads over to Ronnie’s who purports that it would tear her apart if Roxy doesn’t believe that she could never be a cold blooded killer; Roxy relents.

Roxy returns to Blades and reiterates what Ronnie stated – she only ever wanted to put the frighteners on Dean. Dean claims that he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if Ronnie hurt anyone else. When Roxy brands Carl a scumbag, Dean states that it’s Charlie he’s talking about. Roxy barges into Dot’s, and asks to speak to Dot alone. Roxy’s concerned when Dot admits that it’s Ronnie who keeps her up to date in Charlie – she’s not spoke to him herself. Roxy heads back over to Ronnie’s and is adamant that she won’t be played when Ronnie suggests that Roxy should ask Dot if she wants his number. Vincent takes a phone call from Ronnie and promises to sort things for her. Ronnie’s phone rings and she flings it at Roxy to answer –it’s Charlie.

Roxy’s relief is palpable but she’s unimpressed that Charlie is so scared of Ronnie that he won’t set foot in the country – Roxy believes that Ronnie still needs help. Roxy states to Ronnie that her looking out for her has nothing to do with protecting her; she knows that she wants to control her. Roxy slaps Ronnie hard when Ronnie proclaims that it’s not normal for her to want to end up with a rapist. Ronnie slaps Roxy backs and pins her against the wall, claiming that Roxy isn’t worth any more than being with Dean. A tearful Roxy heads into Blades and tells a smug Dean that he was right about Ronnie. Dean encourages Roxy that she’s doing the right thing to stop Ronnie as Roxy makes her way into the police station...

Linda’s angry that Mick didn’t tell her what was going on with Ronnie and Dean as soon as he knew. Mick overhears Linda complaining that she’s sick of looking at wedding dresses. Mick makes a phone call, requesting that he needs something ready for today. Linda’s shocked to see that Mick has got her a wedding dress – the exact dress she described to him that she’d like back when they first got together. Mick lovingly tells Linda that he’s listened to every word she’s ever said since they met. Linda tries on the dress and both she and Mick burst into laughter – it’s hideous. The pair share a warm moment when Linda reassures Mick that he’s doing just fine.

Donna’s concerned when Vincent suggests that she may notice an attitude adjustment in Fatboy when she next sees him. When Lee enters and claims that Fatboy hasn’t turned up to work – Vincent’s taken aback. When there’s no answer at Dot’s, Vincent manages to open a window and climb through. Vincent’s shocked to discover that Fatboy is still trapped in the cupboard under the stairs and is further startled when he opens the door to find a terrified, sombre Fatboy. Later, Vincent’s given food for thought when Donna suggests that Vincent must have really upset Fatboy if he’s given him the silent treatment; she’s never seen Fatboy quiet. Vincent finds Fatboy in the Car Lot and digs for information – Fatboy’s severe reaction to Vincent’s punishment hasn’t gone un-noticed. Vincent asks Fatboy outright who did this to him and Fatboy shakily answers – it was his mum. Fatboy explains that his mum used to lock him in his room for days, eventually he snapped and was determined that he would never let his mum see him cry again – Vincent claims that’s why he’s been smiling or joking ever since. Vincent suggests that Fatboy let the real Arthur come out, rather than keep up his façade. Vincent offers Fatboy a full-time DJ job at the Albert, but makes it clear that it’s Arthur he’s offering the job to, not Fatboy.

When Les spots Pam in the café, he reminds Honey that she shouldn’t get too comfy at Ronnie’s – claiming that there’s nothing sadder than two people living apart when they should be together. Les approaches Pam who apologises for not being able to speak to him at the moment. Later, Les tells Billy not to give up on Honey and to do everything he can to get her back where she belongs, but Billy’s unsure. An upset Paul admits to Les that he was sure he and Pam would work things out. Les states that without Pam, he’ll never feel like he has a home.
