Each week, as well as handpicking key new releases and classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica and beyond, Don highlights a favourite album from his own collection. He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week it's Bring It On, released in 1998 by Gomez.

Don says, "I actually couldn't believe this lot were from the UK. With a sound that's wise beyond their age, this Southport outfit featured three strong vocalists sitting on a multi-genre mix of experimental folk, psychedelia, rock and blues. There's even a bit of reggae in there. This, their debut album, would see them beat The Verve and Massive Attack to win the Mercury Music prize that year.".
