A court in Thailand has sentenced two Burmese migrant workers to death, a crash at a coffee shop in Kent, Christmas shopping and a look at festive TV.

A court in Thailand has sentenced two Burmese migrant workers to death for the murders of two British backpackers. Hannah Witheridge, who was 23, and 24-year-old David Miller were killed on a beach on the island of Koh Tao in September last year. We were live in Hannah's home town of Great Yarmouth. We then heard from the police at the scene of the Costa Coffee car crash in Kent. We returned to Cumbria to get the latest on the flooding there and we took a closer look at the TV schedule for Christmas and New Year .
