In recent years though, they have been melting more than they’ve been expanding, largely down to a warming climate. This week on ·¡Ã²°ù±è²¹, Darren Laing investigates the effect this is having on the communities where people live in close proximity to mountains and glaciers. Agriculture – where farms and vineyards make use of glacial meltwater. What will they do if or when the day comes when the glaciers no longer provide them with enough water?
