Each week, songs are played connected to members of 'The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame'. Continuing our alphabetical look at the list, we hear 'People Get Ready' by The Impressions and 'If I Didn't Care' by The Ink Spots. In 'A Matter Of Life And Death', we celebrate the birthday on this date in 1930 of Julius LaRosa by playing his Top Five hit from 1953 'Eh, Cumpari'. Paul pays tribute to Larry Rosen, who has recently died, by featuring the producer's recording of Angela Bofill singing 'This Time I'll Be Sweeter'. 'It's Not The Same Old Song' highlights 'Ko Ko Mo' by Gene & Eunice and a different song with the same title by The Beach Boys.

In the feature called 'Beyond The Sea', Paul plays a song from a UK artist's biggest-selling album in America. Tonight, we hear tracks from LPs by Joe Jackson and Soul II Soul. 'The Other Number Ones' are records that reached the top of the American chart in 'Cash Box' magazine, but not in the Hot 100 of the other US chart publication 'Billboard'. This week's examples are by Chubby Checker with Dee Dee Sharp and the Four Tops.

Our R&B number ones are from 2015 and now by Sam Smith and Tyrese. We hear Country number ones from 2010 and this week by Lady Antebellum and Emily Ann Roberts. Our featured past and present Rock number ones are by Quarterflash and Twenty One Pilots. The number one album, for a fourth week, is '25' by Adele and 'The Voice' winner in the US, Jordan Smith, is number one with 'Mary Did You Know'.
