Adam Walton and guests preview the technology that will be making an impact in 2016.
As the world's press gather in Las Vegas for CES, the annual Consumer Electronics Show, this week's programme discusses drones, wearables, robots and virtual reality.
Adam is joined by Dr Tom Crick, a senior lecturer in computing at Cardiff Metropolitan University and聽Vic Grout, Professor of computing futures at Glyndwr University in Wrexham.聽
We also hear from 大象传媒 Technology correspondent Rory Cellan-Jones who will be reporting this week from CES, with his predictions of what 2016 might bring.
Will this year finally see "virtual reality" make a big impact? Immersive experiences using VR headsets will be bringing a new dimension to gaming.聽
We also hear about the "Global Game Jam" which takes place in 394 locations around the world, including Glyndwr University in Wrexham, from 29-31 January. Adam meets senior lecturer Richard Hebblewhite and some final year students who are exploring ways of introducing random, surprise elements into games using mobile phone interactions.
