Today Lauren reveals the line up for the 6 Music Festival By Day and 6 Music Festival - Late, which are more opportunities for you to come and join us in Bristol, plus she is joined by London's Savages for a blistering live set

The 6 Music Festival By Day takes place at the Trinity Centre and will feature live performances, spoken word, comedy, 'in conversations', a record fair , the Women's Institute and, of course, our very own 6 Music Presenters. Last year's event in Newcastle saw incredible moments as Lauren was joined in conversation by Bryan Ferry, Girl Band and Fat White Family tore up the Cluny in the middle of the morning, and Sleaford Mods delivered "minimalist punk-hop rants for the working class"

For all you night owls, the 6 Music Festival - Late will take place across two nights with events curated by Mary Anne Hobbs, Nemone and Craig Charles.

Last year we took over the Boiler Shop with sets from Gilles Peterson, Jamie XX and Four Tet and this year will be just as special
Friday is an exploration of the latest Bristol sounds at Basement 45, hosted by Mary Anne Hobbs alongside pioneering Bristol DJ and Producer, Pinch, Expect the best in Bristol bass from some of the most talented producers on the scene

On Saturday,Craig Charles and Nemone take over Motion, where Craig will unleash his Trunk of Funk for a night of twisting and grooving to the greatest funky souly sounds and Nemone brings some of the biggest names in House and Disco into the frame to keep you dancing into the next day.
