Penny Gore introduces a week of performances by the 大象传媒 Symphony Orchestra. Today a concert recorded in Rotterdam including Howells' Hymnus Paradisi, and we celebrate Burns Night. The week anticipates Radio 3's Folk Connections weekend, including on Friday, a concert by the 大象传媒 Concert Orchestra featuring 大象传媒 Radio 2's 2015 Folk Singer of the Year, Nancy Kerr.
