Llyr Williams and Escher Quartet

Llyr Williams plays Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata, plus d'Indy's Quartet No 3 in D flat performed by the Escher Quartet.

Continuing this week's series from Wales, Llyr Williams plays an early piano sonata by Beethoven, the only one for which the composer himself coined the nickname and the Escher Quartet give a performance of a rarely heard string quartet by C茅sar Franck's pupil, Vincent d'Indy at the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth.
