Billy Sloan highlights the career of musician Neil Finn, plus he plays tracks by Gil Scott-Heron in Classic Songwriters.
Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. This weekend's Musical Chairs highlights the career of Neil Finn, guitarist and singer for Split Enz, Crowded House frontman, solo career and also associated with The Pajama Club, 7 Worlds Collide, Bic Runga, Missy Higgins, Finn Brothers, Hunters & Collectors & son Liam Finn. The Live and Dangerous tracks are from the 'Woodstock' live album. In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'Fight The Power' by Public Enemy from the movie 'Do The Right Thing' and in Classic Songwriters, Billy plays tracks from the pen of Gil Scott Heron. Billy will also be paying tribute to the late Glenn Frey of The Eagles.
