Pubble Graveyard
Just a couple of miles from Tempo on the main road from Enniskillen, there is a place that has been used as a burial ground for over 1000 years. Pubble graveyard has fascinated local historian, Seamus McCanney for as long as he can remember and when Anne Marie met him at this sacred site, it wasn't long before she understood why.聽
Ballymena Festival of Music Speech and Dance
They will celebrate the first hundred years with a grand concert on the 13th February 2016 to mark the centenary. It all began 100 years ago when a wise woman from Ballymena thought it would be a good idea for people to take their minds off the war by performing locally on stage, in a festival of music speech and dance. And every year since then, for a month, that is what has been happening in the city of the seven towers. Stanley Hughes is Chairman of the Festival committee and he joins Anne Marie in studio.聽
Ulster Poultry Championship Show
Already over a thousand turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens have arrived and are gathered at the show grounds in Ballymena for what has turned out to be the biggest ever Ulster Poultry Championship Show taking place on the 6th February 2016. There will be over 300 classes for all the poultry with over 40 cups and prizes for section winners. Anne Marie talks live to Jonathan Fletcher and Neal Adams from the show grounds.聽
