The Gloaming in Session

Irish-American supergroup the Gloaming perform tracks from their second album The Gloaming 2.

This week, Irish American supergroup The Gloaming play a special session live in Salford.

The sophisticated band, who have quickly become one of the world's hottest folk acts, are about to release their second album, The Gloaming 2.

The Gloaming are Irish Gaelic singer Iarla 脫 Lion谩ird (Afro Celt Sound System), fiddle player Martin Hayes, guitarist Dennis Cahill, hardanger player Caoimhin 脫 Raghallaigh, and pianist Thomas Bartlett AKA Doveman.

In 2015 they received the Best Traditional Track prize at the 大象传媒 Radio 2 Folk Awards.

Plus the usual mix of classic tracks and exciting new releases.
