In 2009, sports teacher Alan Cappleman was desperate to start a new life in Australia, believing it would offer his family the ideal lifestyle. Wife Louise, however, didn't share Alan's vision of their future and was more than happy with life in the UK.
When a trial week living in Australia saw Louise dig her heels in, Alan's dream of a life down under appeared to be in jeopardy. So six years later, is it still the UK the Capplemans call home, or are they enjoying a new life on the other side of the world?

Cappleman's update
The Capplemans are now living in Coomera Waters on the Gold Coast and having a great time. The weather and house are fantastic and the kids are enjoying the beach, theme parks and life in general.
Alan loves his new job and Louise has picked up an exciting job working from home which fits in well with working around the kids and school life balance. Louise's sister got engaged while there on holiday and is also considering a permanent move.
