Jo broadcasts live from South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, with performances from Frances and Billie Marten.

Jo is live from South By South West in Austin, Texas. The yearly music festival gives upcoming artists a chance to perform in front of a huge audience of music lovers and industry experts.

大象传媒 Introducing is hosting a showcase to bring some of our favourite musicians to the big stage. Jo has invited singer songwriters Frances and Billie Marten to be part of this incredible show and will share their experiences of the festival. 大象传媒 Introducing has been at the festival since 2008 and has provided a stage for artists including Florence + The Machine, Jack Garratt and Royal Blood. Radio 2 is no stranger to the festival either; we've been going for over 12 years. The Radio 2 showcases have helped launch the careers of a bunch of hugely successful artists like Embrace, Corinne Bailey Rae, The Zutons, Richard Hawley and Goldfrapp.

The festival is also a chance for established artists to show off their new work. Jake Bugg plays a live session as he brings some of his new music to SXSW. Plus, Jo catches up with Iggy Pop and Joshua Homme and gets the lowdown as they have been working on new music together.
