Len Goodman takes Homes Under the Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander back to Herne Bay in Kent to reminisce about the holiday of her lifetime back in 1979.
First up, Len surprises Lucy by picking her up in one of the most glamorous cars we've ever had: a vintage Bentley just like the one her dad was driving back in '79. As they drive down the coast, the memories start flooding back.
In a holiday mirroring the one she had back then, they take in a game of bingo, rollerskate up and down the prom, take turns in a beauty pageant and visit the theatre where Lucy's love for the stage and performance first began. They also make and eat food that Lucy remembers very fondly, the faggot. With both of them being so competitive, they have an impromptu who-can-stuff-the-most-faggots-in-your-mouth challenge.
Along the way we get an insight into Lucy's career from acting, starring in television commercials and property development, as well as the role she is most famous for, presenting the daily property show Homes Under the Hammer. We also find out what made this holiday to Herne Bay so special for a young Lucy Alexander.
