Mark Franks v Lorne Spicer: French Antiques Market

Series in which television's top consumer experts are put to the test. Antiques gurus Mark Franks and Lorne Spicer are pitted against one another at a French antiques market.

The second series of the show that puts television's top antiques experts to the test by pairing them against each other in a series of epic challenges.

Each pair of experts must spend their own money on antiques in a variety of different buying environments throughout the week. They must then make as much money as they can by selling on their purchases, testing their knowledge and expertise to the limit. The winner is the expert who makes the most profit.

Eric Knowles, Jonty Hearnden, Lorne Spicer, Mark Franks, Paul Hayes, Kate Bliss, David Harper and Tim Wonnacott are the eight experts who have agreed to put their own money - and their reputations - on the line.

In this instalment, two of television's best known antiques experts - Mark Franks and Lorne Spicer - are pitted against each other at a French antiques market, where they must spend 500 pounds of their own money purchasing the items that they think will make them the most profit.

They then have to sell their purchases with the aim of making as much money as possible, testing their knowledge and expertise to the limit. There can only be one winner - the expert who makes the biggest profit.
