Each week, as well as picking key new releases and classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica and beyond, Don highlights a cherished album from his own collection. He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week it's DJ Shadow's Endtroducing..... released in 1996.

Don says, "Commonly recognised as a master of the art of making new music almost entirely from samples, with the help of an Akai sampler, DJ Shadow's extensive vinyl collection provided all he needed for this landmark work in instrumental hip-hop. Not bad for a record that's, for most part, downbeat grooves with a few upbeat jams. In fact, it's often cited as one of greatest albums of the 90s - crucial.
