Egypt hijacking, boxing press conference, kids with guns and the band James.
Discussion on the Egyptair hijacked flight from Saudi Arabia to Cairo. We spoke to The Times Correspondent in Nicosia MIKE THEODOULOU and MIKE VIVIAN who used to be head of flight operations at the Civil Aviation Authority, he also advised Virgin Atlantic on security. We held a discussion on gun crime and how many young people are now carrying weapons with ERROL LAWSON who is a former gang member and DR DAVID LOWE who is a policing expert at Liverpool John Moores University and has worked as a counter terrorism police officer in the north west of England. We asked whether theatre should remain on the stage rather than being streamed to cinemas? MICHAEL BILLINGTON who is the Guardian's theatre critic thinks screenings are a good thing, but BARRIE RUTTER, founder and artistic director of touring company Northern Broadsides disagrees. Our big guest was the band James who are headlining at Glastonbury this year. And we had our TV Club in the first hour.
