The SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon says she will form a minority government after falling two seats short of a majority in Scotland. Despite Labour coming third in Scotland, Jeremy Corbyn insists the party had "hung on" and done better than expected in Wales and England. The government backs down over controversial plans to force all schools in England to become academies. Schools rated good or outstanding won't now have to convert.
