The tower was built in the 15th century and the earliest bell was cast in 1575, a further two bells being added later in the 16th century. The present ring of 8 was completed in 1897. The tenor weighs 10 hundredweight and is tuned to G. This week we hear them ringing Bristol Surprise Major.
