Steve has Spring King in session for 6 Music Recommends Day, which celebrates our mutual love of sharing and discovering new music with a series of hour long specially curated playlists.
Steve has been a huge champion of Manchester outfit Spring King, crowning them his New Favourite Band in 2014, before hand picking them for the 大象传媒 Introducing Showcase at the South By South West music festival in 2015.
The band are set to release their debut album on Friday July 10th and will be performing a brand new track, never heard on the radio before, alongside their current single 'The Summer'.
Recommends is 6 Music's new music strand which aims to help our audience discover new music .
