6 Music Recommends Day celebrates our mutual love of sharing and discovering new music with a series of hour long specially curated playlists.

Recommends is 6 Music's new music strand which aims to help our audience discover new music. Each week Lauren Laverne, Mary Anne Hobbs, Steve Lamacq and Tom Ravenscroft curate hour-long programs showcasing their favourite new music for our listeners. These can also be downloaded from the iPlayer Radio App.
