Tail docking
As the Scottish Government’s consultation ends on proposals to relax the law banning the docking of dogs’ tails, Dougie meets campaigners on both sides of the debate. Gundog owners are campaigning for the law to be changed to allow the tails of certain working breeds of dogs to be docked to prevent injuries when working. Animal rights campaigners claim there is no evidence on animal welfare grounds to relax the law.
Castle artist
Sarah meets the artist who has set herself the challenge of painting every castle in the Highlands. Sarah travelled to Eilean Donan castle near Kyle of Lochalsh to meet Claire Innes as she tackled the latest of her castle challenges.
Rare breed Pigs

The Landward Food Van
