Peter Doherty Continued...

Mary Anne Hobbs continues her in-depth chat with solo artist and Libertines co-frontman Peter Doherty.

Mary Anne continues her conversation with solo artist and Libertines co-frontman Peter Doherty.

Peter Doherty formed The Libertines in 1997. They released three successful studio albums (Up the Bracket, The Libertines, Anthems for Doomed Youth) and quickly became one of the most influential bands of the 21st century.

In 2014, after a four year hiatus and a short side career with Babyshambles, Peter and the band returned, playing gigs at Glastonbury festival, Reading & Leeds, and a series of smaller, more intimate shows around London.

This year, Peter embarks on a solo career - he released his first single 'The World Is Our Playground' for Record Store Day 2016.

In part two of this interview, Peter opens up about fame, love and his plans for the future...
