Music 'til Midnight - the best in easy listening sounds and timeless standards performed by the greatest artists from the past 60 years. Including singers Carmen McRae, Madeline Bell, Nancy Wilson and The Four Freshmen with instrumental sounds from violinist Regina Carter and pianist Monty Alexander. This week's featured album is Georgie Fame's latest release. Entitled Swan Songs, this is Georgie's farewell to his long career in music. Featuring his long-time collaborators The Blue Flames the album features a number of Georgie's own compositions that look back on his career including The Diary Blues and Lovin' Brought Me Into This World, as well as paying tribute to a number of the people that have influenced his music. These include arranger Steve Gray (Gray's March) and Mose Allison who is celebrated in Mose Knows.
