Blossoms in Session

Jo hosts a live session from Stockport-based five-piece band Blossoms, whose influences include the Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and Abba.

Jo Whiley has a live session with Stockport based 5 piece band, Blossoms. They draw from a variety of musical influences including The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Oasis and ABBA. They're very proud of the pop element to their sound: "Pop music is pop. It's popular for a reason," they have said. "We're not ashamed or shying away from the fact we want to be as catchy as we can be. Our aim is to make people put their arms round each other and sing and be able to dance at the same time".
