It's film review day - grab the Bolly and call the chauffeur because Ab Fab is back! Yes two of London's most wayward residents, Patsy and Eddy, are staggering onto the big screen this week in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie - we'll review the film in the company of regular critics, Nigel Floyd and Wendy Lloyd.
They will also will share their thoughts on this week's other big cinema releases including buddy comedy, Central Intelligence - part revenge fantasy, part espionage thriller, it features Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart as the central double act. Director Florian Gallenberger will tell us about his new film, 'The Colony,' - based on true events it tracks a young woman's desperate search for her abducted boyfriend; a journey that draws her into the infamous Colonia Dignidad, a sect nobody has ever escaped from!
Later in the show, we'll have a special feature on W.W. 1 Poetry, in the company of Scottish award-winning poet, novelist, journalist, broadcaster and actor, Angus Peter Campbell - looking ahead to Radio Scotland's 'First Day of the Somme' event on Saturday the 1st of July. We'll also preview the World premiere of 'Memorial Ground' by David Lang at East Neuk Festival - commissioned to mark the centenary of The Battle of the Somme.
All that and the SAY Awards!
