In its 150th anniversary year, the National Museums Scotland prepares to open 10 new galleries, housing more than 3000 objects of decorative art, design, fashion, science and technology. The museum's Director Gordon Rintoul discusses this latest stage in an £80 million redevelopment.

Daydreaming with Stanley Kubrick is a new exhibition at Somerset House in London. The show has been curated by the artist and musician James Lavelle, and features the work of a number of contemporary artists, filmmakers and musicians inspired by the director of 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange and The Shining.
