He explains why it means so much to him and features three key tracks. This week he selects Takk... released in 2005 by Sigur R贸s.

Don says, "Can't remember if it was listening to 6 Music or watching David Attenborough's Planet Earth TV series that hipped me to this Icelandic outfit. Either way it was a revelation. Words such as atmospheric, emotive and ethereal spring to mind, but that really doesn't do it, because I remember when I first heard this record thinking that this would be the perfect soundtrack to my last breath on earth - and that's a compliment!".
