We hear about the drought in Queensland, Australia where farmers have had four failed wet seasons, increasingly relying on artesian 'fossil water' from underground. 大象传媒 Weather Forecaster Peter Gibbs puts the Australian experience in context, telling Charlotte Smith about wider changing weather patterns.

Last month we heard from John Atkinson and his sheepdog, Queen, as they began preparations for the English National Sheepdog Trials, which take place in early August at Castle Howard in North Yorkshire. With a couple of weeks to go, there's still time to practice the perfect outrun. Gareth Barlow went to find out how they're getting on.

There's some slightly better news for dairy farmers as the co-op Arla has frozen its milk price for the second month in a row. It will remain at 19.05 pence a litre next month for its 2,700 British co-op members. As we've reported, this follows signs of a slow-down in milk production and the beginnings of a tentative milk price recovery. However, whilst some processors are now short of milk and are looking for new dairy farms to supply them, independent dairy analyst Chris Walkland says it doesn't necessarily follow that farmers are in a position to negotiate better contracts.
