John talks to Lucia Quinney-Mee 17 from Ballycastle about winning seven medals at the British Transplant Games in Liverpool, after her third liver transplant.
John meets retired social worker Maura Ward from Kilkeel - known as the Geriatric Traveller - who was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2013 – but who is determined to make the most of second and has gone on to travel extensively across the world including Togo and Eritrea. Her son Johnny has been a big inspiration to her - a successful travel blogger (onestep4ward) who has travelled to 194 countries so far and we catch up with him in Thailand.
John finds out how to ‘make a boyfriend’ and hears about the NI Big Sock Marathon at the Top Floor Art Gallery in Saintfield, celebrating August Craft Month.
