Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's 'Musical Chairs' feature, Billy highlights the career of singer, songwriter and musician Paul Weller known for his solo work, a member of both The Jam and The Style Council and associated with the likes of Oasis, Blur and Dot Allison. The 'Live and Dangerous' tracks are from Steve Harley's live acoustic album 'Stripped To The Bare Bones' (recorded at The Jazz Caf茅 in London in March 1998). In 'Movie Moment' Billy's playing 'Son Of A Preacher Man' by Dusty Springfield from Quentin Tarantino's 'Pulp Fiction' and in 'Classic Songwriters', there's tracks from the pen of singer/songwriter, producer and musician Nick Cave.
