Live coverage from the Olympic Stadium as British trio Jessica Ennis-Hill, Mo Farah and Greg Rutherford attempt a repeat of London 2012's Super Saturday.
Live coverage from the Olympic Stadium as British trio Jessica Ennis-Hill, Mo Farah and Greg Rutherford attempt to repeat Super Saturday from four years ago, when they electrified the home crowd by winning gold medals within 45 minutes of each other.
Long jumper Rutherford, the holder of all four major titles available to him, begins his campaign first, followed by double Olympic champion Farah in the 10,000m. Ennis-Hill, after competing in the javelin, then brings her heptathlon campaign to an end in the 800m. Other events include the women's 100m final and the men's 400m and 800m semi-finals.
As the athletics draws to a close the focus switches to the pool, where four more events are decided. There is also quarter-final action from the men's football.
