Creating Carrickfergus
Old meets new now Your Place and Mine this week. The Carrickfergus museum has gone all hi-tech for a special Minecraft Event starting at 10am this morning - where they hope to create a virtual 3D, mid 17th century Carrick.
Broadisland Gathering
And just down the road from Carrickfergus - overlooking Islandmagee, Ballycarry is gearing up for the 23rd Broadisland Gathering. David Hume, one of the organisers, will be on a bus next Friday giving people a talk and a tour about the place he knows so well.
Next stop, Drumawhey
It will take you 15 miles from Belfast, 4 from Donaghadee – but if ever you needed a ‘loco’ motive to head that way, Drumawhey Junction Railway are celebrating their 25th anniversary this weekend.Â
