John chats with gold medal winner Michael McKillop from Newtownabbey who is getting ready to defend his title at The Paralympics in Rio. Sophia Sharma, just back from the Calais refugee camp, shares her experience of volunteering there and musician Matt McGinn talks about his upcoming project, to work with musicians across the world, affected by conflict.
John chats to young carer Siobhan O’Reilly (18) from Newtownhamilton, Co Armagh, who cares for both her of disabled parents. Siobhan is one of an estimated 30,000 young people caring for a sick or disabled loved one across Northern Ireland.
