Reaction to the Ryder Cup, a closer look at new charity laws and Lord Dannett on the future of the British Army.
We discussed heckling at The Ryder Cup over the weekend. As a new laws are introduced allowing charities to disqualify trustees who break the rules we asked our listeners which charities they trust and why? Our big guest today was Lord Dannatt, GCB, CBE, MC, DL and Former Head of the British Army. His latest book is called 'Boots on the Ground' is a commentary on Britain since the Second World War, seen through the perspective of the army. He spoke too of how the forces should do more to protect our veterans on discharge from the forces. The perfumer Jo Malone joined us too to talk about her new business venture Jo Loves and her autobiography that charts her business success, health struggles and family life. And finally we had our TV Club, this week we look a closer look at Westworld, The Apprentice, Still Game and we spoke to Alan Fletcher who plays Karl Kennedy in Neighbours, he marked the 30th anniversary of the soaps time on British TV.
