Europe took a third consecutive Ryder Cup victory in 2014 with a dominant 161/2-111/2 win at Gleneagles. Having led 10-6 going into the final day, they reached the 141/2 needed to win the cup outright when Welsh rookie Jamie Donaldson beat Keegan Bradley.
