As well as playing a selection from this week's Building a Library choice, the musical Cabaret, Jonathan Swain also explores the music of Kurt Weill, straddling the worlds of concert hall and theatre. The new season of French impressionist classics includes Debussy's La Damoiselle 脡lue, and this week's young artist is pianist Frank Dupree, playing Beethoven's Piano Sonata in F minor, Op. 2 No. 1.
