In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of Klaus Voorman - German artist, musician and record producer - He's designed artwork for many bands including the Beatles and performed as a session musician (most notably as a bassist) - associated with many artists including Manfred Mann, Badfinger, Plastic Ono Band, George Harrison, Harry Nilsson, Carly Simon, Lou Reed, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh, Cat Stevens and Howlin Wolf. The Great Collaborations track features David Bowie and Pet Shop Boys and in The Real Thing it's Womack & Womack' by The Pearlfishers - song about songwriter David Scott's early days running with the hawks of the music industry.
