The concert opens with Mahler's only chamber work, his Piano Quartet Movement, followed by Schoenberg's emotionally charged 'Transfigured Night'. The second half of the concert features one work: Schubert's ever-popular 'Trout' quintet, a work full of sunny and exuberant charm.
