Angela Hewitt

Pianist Angela Hewitt talks to Sara Mohr-Pietsch about her early experiences as a cathedral chorister and how singing continues to inform her career as a concert soloist.

Sara Mohr-Pietsch talks to pianist Angela Hewitt about her early experiences as a cathedral chorister, and how her background in singing continues to inform her career as a concert soloist. Sara's choral classic features a soaring soprano solo in Stanford's The Blue Bird, alongside other music for voices by Massenet, Beethoven and Bobby McFerrin. In 'Meet my Choir', it's the turn of singers from Epworth Choir in Lincolnshire to introduce us to their amateur ensemble.
