2016: Scotland v Ireland
Live coverage of the Marine Harvest Shinty-Hurling International at the Bught Park in Inverness as Scotland's top shinty players take on their Irish hurling counterparts.
Jonathan Sutherland presents live coverage of The Marine Harvest Shinty-Hurling International from the Bught Park in Inverness. This is a unique occasion as Scotland's best shinty players take on Ireland's hurling team in a match combining elements of both sports.
After a spell of Irish dominance, Scotland have won this fixture for the past two years under manager and shinty legend Ronald Ross. Lovat's two-pointer specialist Kevin Bartlett followed his goalscoring man of the match performance in 2014 with a further 12 points last year as Scotland won 24-14. This year the battle to lift the Quaich will be even more keenly contested as there is no return match in Ireland.
Hugh Dan MacLennan, the voice of shinty, guides us through action with co-commentary from Fraser Inglis. Former Scotland internationals Gary Innes and Eddie Tembo provide expert analysis.
