On November 3rd 1916, one of the worst collisions in Irish Maritime history happened as the Coal boat Retriever was coming into Carlingford Lough, and collided with the passenger steamer SS Connemara. 93 people lost their lives. On the 100th anniversary, Marie McStay finds out about what happened on that day, and the one survivor, James Boyle.

From now until the middle of January something that's never been seen before will be on display in Carrickfergus at the museum in the town. It's a 300 year old atlas and a map of Carrick when it was spelt with a K 鈥� which came to light when some unique documents were restored.
