Kathryn Tickell presents a live session from Hungarian tamburitza band S枚nd枚rg枚.

Formed in 1995, S枚nd枚rg枚 play turbo-charged Hungarian folk music on the tambura, a small plucked instrument similar to the mandolin. Their traditional repertoire is made up of material gathered by B茅la Bart贸k and Tiham茅r Vujicsics as well as learned from old masters of the tradition. They are considered to be one of Europe's most versatile and exciting bands.
