Billy Sloan introduces the very best in rock and pop music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world along with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In the Musical Chairs feature, Billy highlights the career of American musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Nils Lofgren - known as a long-time member of Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band as well as his work with Grin, Stephen Stills, Jerry Lee Lewis, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Ringo Starr All-Starr Band, Rod Stewart, Bob Seger, Patti Scialfa, Lone Justice, Steve Forbert, George Benson and Nazareth. The Live and Dangerous tracks come from Simple Minds live album 'Big Music Tour 2015'. The Movie Moment track is 'When We Were Kings' by Brian McKnight & Diana King from the movie of the same name and in Classic Songwriters there's tracks from the pen of multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Pete Townshend.
