It wasoffer that drew applications from around the world - the rental of a 145 acre sheep farm on Llandudno's Great Orme for a rent of just 拢1 a year. The, who own the property worth a million pounds, decided to offer a 10-year tenancy of the farm to protect its rare and fragile coastal landscape. Dan and Ceri Jones from Anglesey were chosen and have moved into Parc Farm with their son Efan and this will be their first family Christmas in聽their new home. Rachael Garside visits the family and hears how they are settling in but they have their work cut out managing the Farm to reverse the decline in habitat loss. The conservation charity, and a partner in the project have bought Dan a flock of sheep that will graze the farmland and the headland, with a specific regime to ensure the landscape's habitats and species are not lost.
